Loquacious Logic

By: Maham Abid

Heed, at the times of chaos and loss–

–the voice of logic–although its cold concision may appear cross.

Sure, Logic has a sterile stature that may appear stoic and stern–

but it is that very characteristic of his that keeps his masses from getting burned.

The thing to which logic seems to remain forever aloof–

is that knowledge can only be your ally in matters that require worldly proof.

Faith is not a matter to be thought about or dealt…

It is a mystery within us waiting to be felt

It is a type of “knowing” to which knowledge is unaware.

Experiencing God is too much for cognition alone to bear.

Finding Him is not an outward journey for which we must prepare,

It feels more like remembering a Truth we simply forgot was always there.

The difference between true knowledge and that of mere “human belief”,

is that everyone who truly experiences Him will always be led to Relief.

Love you all ways, always,
